Welcome Aboard Please welcome Sandra Lawhon, who has just purchased #1101 and Farrell & Betty Allen who have just moved from the golf side to the water side, #501. Congratulations! We wish Joe Neidig and his new dog the best of luck.
Welcome Committee Pres. Ray Hickey appointed a new Welcome Committee in December to set up sponsors to help new residents. We will also be providing information, publicity and marketing tools for owners wishing to sell or rent their units. The Welcome Committee has already greeted the Palmers & Sandra Lawhon with a gift bag of refreshments to facilitate their moving in & helped Kristin when she needed paper for her printer, ASAP. The "Meet & Greet" at 6 PM in the Bay Room, B.Y.O.B. and a snack to share on the 2nd Friday of each month to invite all residents and their guests to participate. Name tags!
Flat Screen TV Larry Green is taking donations for a new flat screen TV for the common area. He already has 40% of what we need for the TV. To donate, please call Larry Green at 850 554-8684, this is a Bayshore team effort!

*March 7th - Annual Meeting & Elections - Patio Room - 10 AM; vote & get your sealed & signed ballot in early to the Manager's Office. *March 8th - Daylight time begins on the 2nd Sunday in March. In March, clocks are set ahead one hour at 2:00 a.m. local standard time, which becomes 3:00 AM local daylight time. Tip: Spring forward in spring & fall backward in fall!

Manager' s Office Reminders: *A Sound Fire Alarm has been established! Do not use elevators in the event of a fire! Exit on the east & west stairwells. Assemble in front by the island. Do not attempt to reenter the bldg. until the Fire Marshal has the given the clearance. Do not attempt to help the firemen or get in their way. If you burn something in your unit, do not open the doors; this will activate the system-wide fire alarm. Keep an eye on the popcorn!
Special Bay Sightings! King Chuck I spotted an easterly swimming otter & ducks bobbing up and down one Sunday Morning. By Monday, the pelicans had moved in for a heroic rescue on the friendly Bayshore Beach.
ROYAL KUDOS to King Chuck I & Queen Barbara I (The Conditts), Debutante Sara Emelia Sundberg, Duke Justin Joseph Dodge, Princess Maya Markley & Prince Christian Bryant. The Coronation of the Royal Court of 2009 was witnessed by many of the Krewe of Bayshore in the two-float parade, the King's float & the lovely carriage. Special mention was Princess Maya's Ruby Red Shoes, Ibsie Gremillion's creative lampshade hat & Captain Knapp's decorative abilities. Royal Treasurer Fred Gund who inspected the doubloons and declared them genuine. Royal Jeweler Rick Bryson with his suit & handsome tie who declared the jewelry for the Ring Ladies to be of sufficient size & quality. King /Queen issued a Royal Decree thanking EVERYONE who came and enjoyed the revelry of the Krewe of Bayshore. Lundi Gras nite was hosted by the McGrath's--the traditional red beans & rice meal for the Monday nite decorators.

Q Where can I get good dental hygiene? A One of the best sources is the PJC Dental Hygiene Clinic located at 5555 Hwy. 98 West in Bldg. 3100. Contact numbers are 850 484-2236 and 850 484-2290. The Clinic sees patients by appt. on Tues. & Thurs. The fee is $20 for an oral cancer screening, X-rays, thorough cleaning & fluoride treatment, plus some little dental goodies to take home.
